The Sturgeon
We were winding our trip down. I had just netted a fish when I saw a flash and heard a loud thump as a fish landed at my feet. It was this 29 inch lake sturgeon. He jumped right into the boat. Over the years the DNR has put much effort into bringing sturgeon back to the Red River. I have never caught one or seen one in person for that matter. Well I have still not caught one.
